I ordered 1X because XL not available. As of today 6/10/18 still not available. Slip is on loose side. But I can take it in & make it XL. Material of slip could have been thicker but its ok. Some of this slips of now are so thin. I am 63 yrs old and very old school. So I have always wore slips. I gave 3 stars becuz I have to alter waist. Slip is 28 inches long. Perfect for the skirts I purchased for. I don't plan on shortening. However if need be all I have to do is snip-it.

Nice quality. Slip is comfortable and light yet opaque so that it is useful under lightweight summer skirts that might be too sheer on their own. The length is as advertised. I'm not planning to shorten it, but from what I can see shortening should be easy. There are hem stitches in lightwight thread attaching each band of lace. Pop those stitches with a seam-ripper or small scissor and the lace band will come right off.

This slip is perfect. I purchased it for my daughter who has a dress that is sheer part way. There was no way she was going out without a slip, but she needed one she could adjust the length. This is an interesting concept, especially because of early hits / misses/. The cutting, for proper length, isn't all that's needed; I finished the edges with a zigzag stitch / hem to avoid later fraying. When I bring in the waistband, it will be all set. Thank you.
