Watertight coverage for cast or bandage

Cast cover worked great in shower! I have a large bandage on my ankle and it was completely dry. The cover is very large so I had lots of extra plastic but the top ring fit tight and the extra material wasn't a probkem. Much better product than a rubber boot I used for a previous surgery.
Failed after only a week

This only lasted about a week before the bag started coming apart from the top ring. I was lucky enough to spot it as I was putting it on, so I escaped the misfortune of a wet/soggy cast (on a Saturday when a replacement would have been 2 days away) due to the failure of this product.
So far, the ones you find at Wal-greens seem to be a better design and more durable.

This product is wonderful. It works as promised and is so effective! Previous attempts with bags and tape to keep my leg dry in the shower failed miserably. I wish I had known how inexpensive and good this product was back then.

The plastic material is about the thickness of a shower curtain so I believe it will hold up. The soft silicone that seals around your leg and keeps all the water off of your cast. I would buy it again.

The 5 star review is just after one use, BUT I have always been a believer in you get what you pay for. There were many other choices to look at on Amazon for less money but durability and longevity were extremely important to me as well as being water proof. The material of the cover seems to be of high quality and thickness, as well as a comfortable size on my leg while showering. Time will tell but I believe this product will last long past my need of it and be available if it becomes useful to me again.
