Kitchen cabinet makeover!

When we re-did our kitchen years ago, I wanted cabinets with glass and mullions...that soon became a regret. Always cleaning the glass and could never get into the corners of each section very well. My friend has the same type of cabinets with the same complaints. I decided to buy this film. I took the glass out and installed it on the outside of the glass, so I wouldn't have to be a slave to them anymore. I took my time and made sure there were no air bubbles and the film was very easy to work wiith. I can still see inside them, it looks like textured glass with a blurred view and I've been freed from the slavery of trying to keep the glass clean. When I walk into my kitchen now, no more ughs! I wish I would have done this years ago.

I used this to increase the frosted glass effect on a door. The window on the door has mostly frosted panes but a couple of small clear squares that people could peer through. Adding this worked well to obscure those squares but keep the original design. This film was slightly more difficult to use than another brand I used in our bathroom, but the end result was excellent. I suggest 1. use water with some detergent 2. use a cloth to wet the window rather than a spray bottle, and keep it handy while applying because you may need to rewet the edges 3. use tape on either side to remove the backing 4. be sure to apply the smooth side to the window, the textured side will not stick 5. press it in place and if it rolls up on the edges, rewet and repress. It will take. If I were doing this on a larger window, I think I would unroll what I needed and flatten it under some books overnight. The only difficulty is that this is a nice thick textured film and that has been rolled up, so it wants to curl again. However, with some patience, it works very well and the end result is perfect.

This stuff is amazing. I used it to add some privacy to my cubicle at work. I have a great location looking out some beautiul windows over the water, but it puts my back to everyone. Which means without me knowing thy are standing there they can be reading my screen, which normally wouldn't be a problem but I deal in some PII that should not be seen by everyone. This stuff was easy to install on the glass to my back and it looks so professional. I get all sorts of compliments on it. FYI - Package doesn't include much so if you have a large project you will probably need more than one.
Hands-down my favorite window treatment.

It was so easy once I got the soap and water solution right. Just use a lot of dish soap. This is the perfect film since it lets in the sun but keeps out peeping neighbors. I like that it looks like stained glass and that it is an immediate solution.

This product was easy to cut and it provides the privacy that one needs. However, it hard remove the clear backing film with the lil strip that is provided for one side. The film did not stick to the water or soap solution. The soap solution made it impossible to stick.
