bought these as I needed the stable ankle support & they wear very well style & fit-wise. I had to have one of em altered by having a lift put on it & even w/ that the boot is top-notch. I got the grey but Im thinking of picking up a pair of the black. Very light & wet-proof. Id recommend em.

I was hesitant purchasing these boots for hunting even though the price was cheap. I am really glad I did now! The quality of them is stellar. They are very well built with sturdy material. The comfort level is amazing, the most comfortable boots I've ever worn hands down. My buddies at the lease all asked where I got them and now want to get the same pair after trying them on. Definitely great for hunters on a budget. I recommend these boots highly. I put them on right out of the box and put them through a stress test walking out to my tree stand through creek bottoms, rocky hills and the piney woods. Feet are dry and the boots are holding up great. We will see what they do by end of the season.

I actually love these and they fit great really they also look great. It feels like you can wear them anywhere and they are light too.
BUT, I took them on a hike and after 5 miles up a mountain and I found my problem with these. They dont have enough padding above the ankle and they started to really hurt. it actually scuffed my skin (the right one only which was weird) almost to the point of bleeding and eventually it did bruise my leg just above the ankle. could be not properly cut/sized? I dont have a walking problem and never had this happen. no matter how much I adjusted them I hurt. I could not wait to take them off.
note to make you really need to think about adding some padding (more) at the top. its too bad cause these are otherwise great. I bought them for survival but no way these will make that cut. From now on I will have to wear extra padding when I go hiking.
