I just replaced my last hiking bag. This one is great. So many pockets and so much versatility to the bag. I can Expand it out for more room for equipment or smash it down to a lower scale if my hike is much shorter. Great Versatility and since there is so many options for attachments, i go to the army surplus store to get the attachments. Found one for a water bottle.

Most packs this size have, at best, a flimsy waist strap. This one actually has a functional padded waist strap so you can carry the weight on the hips not the shoulders. Plenty of compression straps help keep a low profile. The molle straps make it easy to carry a small axe or machete and other gear you might need easy access to. I'll typically carry 20 to 30 lbs of gear & water comfortably and the pack is holding up well; I'm sure it can handle heavier loads. Great little pack!

I really like this pack. I have tried a few and this one is the best for the money for ruck pack training. It is well made with plenty of adjustments so you can get a good fit and cinch down your load. The wide hip belt takes a lot of the weight off my shoulders and put it on my hips. This is very helpful when you are carry substantial weight over long distances and not using it as a laptop or travel pack.
Awesome every motorcycle rider needs one of these for long distance traveling.

I have had this military tactical backpack hydration bag for the last three months and I am using it every time I go out on my motorcycle. It is incredible. Keeps water for as cold as your ice lasts and I would say that's a good 24 hours at least. It is easy to fill and the bag rucksack itself is very roomy. If I had one complaint it would be that the bag is too roomy I would prefer a much more utilitarian style designed bag and I may have to buy another one to get it.
