I hav brought a Megawheels hoverboard at last black friday deal . it works great .and when i saw that a new e-scooter available from Megawheels , i decide to have one to try because i saw that bird scooter is now very popular , and i want to have one for my own!it works great for me(155lb). but i don't think this thing can hold the man whose weight beyound 175lb, so if your weight over this figure ,you need to think for a while and make the right choice.

intially I couldn't figure out how to power up the scooter, the manufacturer reached out and told me to hold the power button longer to power up the scooter. I'm enjoying the scooter, easy to operate, I think it will satisfy what I need it for.

This scooter malfunctioned in less than 24 hours. It wouldn't move when the hand throttle was depressed. It couldn't be turned off or shut down. It took almost 24 hours for the battery to run out. Being hopeful tried to see if after a charge and powering up again it might reset and work. No such luck! Finding customer service contact information was a nightmare, which resulted in them being slow to respond and condescending. Had the customer service been even civil I wouldn't have left a review. Sometimes good companies have items that for whatever reason don't work as expected and they try to make it work. My primary complaint is after buying a defective product this company took a cavalier attitude instead of trying to help resolve the issue.
Surprisingly good quality for the price.

Thinks of this as an "e-assist" scooter, in that you will still need to kick a bit, and it won't go up urban hills. It will however get you around flat areas at a running speed and it is easy to get on public transit with it or stow it under a coffee table.
Pros:
- Lighter than most e-scooters (~20 lbs)
- Folds in two places (base and handlebars) making it more compact when folded
- Will fit flat on a narrow shelf when folded (wheel turns to allow handlebars to turn flat)
- Cheap in comparison with other e-scooters
- You can buy cheap 3rd party chargers to charge at home/work/etc
Cons:
- Very underpowered. Will not go up steep hills, and goes slow up moderate inclines.
- Secondary e-brake is too touchy and you have to be very careful pressing it or you go over the handlebars (I use the foot brake mostly)
- No display on handlebars
- On/off button on foot platform is awkward and dirty to press (should be on handlebars)
- Battery readout it on base instead of handlebars
- Would benefit from a normal (e.g. bike) hand brake mechanism instead of the 'throttle' type control
- Hand grips continue to come loose (may have to apply some superglue)
- Range is about 5 miles which is not that great

I was a bit skeptical at first if the scooter also keeps what he promises because I did not know anybody with a neat scooter and did not drive a decent scooter before.
Very pleasantly surprised by the pleasant stuffing thanks to the big wheels and the built-in shock absorber. My partner has also brought one. Meanwhile, we drive almost every day with the scooters and have also taken the scooters on vacation because they are practical and easy to use.
Perfect for sightings and short trips through the city as you can take them anywhere without a problem
