Quality, Price, Use- FABULOUS!

Quality, price and use - fabulous!
I purchased the Avacraft pot with side pour perforated spout and clear lid and loved it!
I cook 2 to 3 times A DAY , very heavy use of cookware. I own pieces of T-fal ltd. (love but chachachiiiing!) , a Weaverware fry pan ( I do not recommend! ) and other various Brand Name stainless steel cookware I just can't recommend due to price or other issues.
I needed replacements for the everyday "recommended" ceramic cookware I purchased a year ago that did not hold up. I did not want to spent $200+ dollars on one pan, or purchase something I'd have to replace next year. I googled tons of info and purchased one Avacraft pot first to test. I am super happy with this cookware!
**If a cook is not familiar with cooking on stainless steel I would highly recommend googling info on stainless cookware use.**
Most of the 1 and 2 star reviews I see are because the cook wasn't familiar with stainless steel use.
The 3 items I purchased separately, a pot, pan and wok style multi purpose pot, are all NONSTICK when heated on med-low first then food is added. I have made omelets, soups and pasta sauce (acidic). Easy to clean. Stay cool handles. If heat/food "discolor" pan rub with vinager. I do not put pans or knives in dishwasher but these are dishwasher safe. I did make a frittata in the oven and it came out perfect, it did not stick. *Use cookware correctly. Heat first THEN add food.*
Light weight. Easy clean up. See thru lids (love!!!) Stay cool handles ( I'll mention it again because lesson learned). A level base which sat flat on gas cook top even after multiple uses, no warping. Even heat distribution, no obvious hot spots . My gas range does not distribute gas evenly so a pans ability to distribute heat is important to me. I compared my Avacraft sauce pan(pot) to my Tfal sauce pan (pot) and it was very similar in heat distribution when comparing bubbles/temp distribution with a thermometer in clear water.
Cooked well on low simmer for extended time without over heating as some cookware does. It kept an even temperature and did not continue to absorb heat and and over heat then scorch sauce on low temp, fabulous benefit! Yes, I've had pans that did that.
I liked the 1st pot I ordered so much I purchased a fry pan with lid, and later the multi-use wok style pot. I recommend this brand for multi-use, ease of use, quality and price. Lightweight, cool handles, oven safe (350' was my experience), even heat distribution, dishwasher safe and for a quality vs. price, totally worth it!!!

Really nice pan!

I own 2 Avacraft saute/frying pans now, a bigger one and a smaller one. The handles REALLY DO stay cool even though they look like the rest of the pan. That is a GREAT feature! I had been wanting stainless steel because all these coated pans, once scratched, that coating is going into your food, but I hated the food sticking to the pan. In comes Tik Tok to save the day. I saw a video of how to properly use a stainless steel pan as a non-stick pan, by letting it get hot first, waiting a few minutes until the water droplets you throw in turn into little gel bubbles sliding around. Something about letting the pores in the steel close up and then it becomes non-stick. Why did no one teach me this sooner??? Now I watch in amazement as my sticky Chinese sauced chicken or whatever it is gets cooked with no extra oil or butter, just what I coated the chicken with. Then I use a rubber spatula to easily slide the sauce off the bottom of the pan. My two Avacraft pans are great quality and I'll probably end up adding to my set as I go along.
Needs another handle

This is an amazing pan. Cooks with even heat, cleans up nice, but . . . i'm a small, older woman. I dropped the lid to my old 12" pan that was much lighter & broke the handle off. The teflon had seen much better days and this was a good reason to replace it. This pan is great, but the weight is sometimes a bit much. It needs a handle opposite the main handle to help pick it up and/or maneuver.
On Par with my All Clad

Just wanted to mention some basics when using 3 ply cookware. Some have mentioned stains, spots, etc and hard to clean, whereas with some basics, one can clean this cookware by rinsing it in the kitchen sink. Most important is that one never uses more than medium in cooking with 3 ply. Medium heat using 3 ply is the equivalent of high on other types of cookware as the entire pot or pan will heat uniformly where everything you cook will be equally done, and not having partial undercooked or overcooked. Next tip is to never put anything into the cookware until it has been totally heated. Now it is ok to start out on high for a few minutes if you are primarily boiling water, but then turn down to medium before you place food items into the boiling water. Once empty pot has heated, put a small amount of room temperature oil in the pan and let that heat properly in the pan prior to placing food items in the pan. If fryin, turn the heat down to low or medium low and wow, nothing is sticking and making scorch marks and such. Plus your food will soon me tender and moist. Dishwashing detergents have different chemicals than does Dawn Ultimate, thus placing good cookware in a dishwasher will surely get the pots clean but if you don't like streaks and spots in your cookware, then hand wash. I have a complete large set of All Clad, as well as expensive SS Kohn pressure cookers and none of them have ever been in a dishwasher and my 20 yr old All Clad looks like I purchased it yesterday. I purchased an 8" pan with lid to try this cookware on my induction burners. I am in Florida and Induction cooking is a must in our summer climate. This brand is equivalent to All Clad on induction burners. I've also ordered the 2.5 qt pot with lid as I appreciate seeing how things are cooking with the glass lids. Just some tips from a guy that appreciates culinary skills and some I've learned at weekend classes at the Culinary Art Institute! Course I'm still learning new things too from the many reviews posted on Amazon. My main cooking surface is glass top with side induction burners. I've tried several pieces of cookware that proclaim their induction rated, but in fact, they are not. Yet I believe that all 3 ply pieces will work just fine on induction burners as this brand does. I might add that it is very helpful to have markings on the inside of a pot to confirm levels and most of your better cookware, such as Kohl, also have measurement markings on the inside of their cookware. Very handy! I'll also add the lids with this cookware are superb! I'm just waiting for them to produce a 12" pan with lid. Needed for lengthy cooking times for Risotto!
