I've had Klipsch surround sound speakers for awhile now. My SW350 Subwoofer needed replacement and the replacement model is is the similar dimensions, bigger woofer and sounds better. Definitely worth the buy!!

My stereo system is set up in a 14x14 foot bedroom. My HP laptop is my music source. I run it through the Pyle PTA4 mini-amp, rated at 2x120 watts @ 4 ohms, into two Yamaha NS-333's, rated at 60 Hz to 35 kHz @ 6 ohms for L+R. I placed the Klipsch R-100 subwoofer at about front center and plugged it into the Pyle's L+R tape outs. I tuned the Klipsch crossover to slightly below 80 Hz and volume about a third of the way which gives everything a warm deep bottom. Any higher on the crossover was overkill. The laptop's master volume along with the Pyle's volume, bass and treble is all I need for tonal adjustment. Even though the laptop contains a 10-band EQ I don't really need it.

This sub replaced an aging Klipsh 10in KSW, that after 20 years decided not to power on. This new version is more powerful, and clearer than the old model, and a worthy upgrade at a reasonable price. It is paired with a Klipsch R-25C Center, R-2650-C II In-Ceiling, and R-24F Floorstanding. Powered by an aging ONKYO TX-NR809.

I bought this subwoofer to use with a sound bar for the TV. Almost all sound bar with subwoofer combos are only 6.5" subs and lack any real bass tone. I am using a Vizio sound bar that has a subwoofer output, therefore I was able to buy any powered subwoofer to add to it. The 10" sub puts out more than enough bass for my living room. It's perfect for the amount of television/movies we watch and even better for playing music through the sound bar. This subwoofer is very affordable and the value is great!
