Fun but difficult for rear facing

We bought this for my 2.5 year old son for a long road trip. He is small and still rear facing. He got frustrated that his cars wouldn't stay where he wanted them because it was a little tilted. He did use it to play with some of his toys and to draw a little. We didn't end up using it as much as I thought we would because he'd get annoyed with it. He might enjoy it more once he gets big enough to forward face.

The Coolmum travel tray was a lifesaver for both my 4 year old and me! My 4 year old is very very active and this saved me more times than I can count. It was one of the best investments that I have made for travel with a child. My 4 year old loved it, too. It allowed her to be much more active! She was able to color, draw, play cars, watch/play with the tablet and not have to hold it in her lap! I could even get lunch to go and she was very excited each time as she loved using the tray as her "table". If you are not sure it's worth the money, as a Mom who has traveled quite a bit, that this was one of the best investments I've ever made for family travel. It folds up compact for stowing away at night, after we got to destination, and when we got home. The tray is very durable and very well made. I love how versatile it was. I now store it in our car for any trip in which we might end up needing it! It saved my sanity on out big trip, this year. It was even a hit with grandparents!

Great Concept, Not sturdy

The "table" worked good to hold my sons tablet for a long car ride however it was not easy to fasten the table to it would be strait or sturdy for him to use. The table slanted and/or leaned down and was hard to fasten snugly without being uncomfortable. By the trip home he would not let me strap the table around the chair and I had to find an alternative mean to secure the tablet for the trip. Was a great concept but my toddler wouldn't use it.

I bought this on a whim after trying to find something for my kiddo to play on instead of staring at a screen while in the car. Tried this one because of good reviews and low price compared to others. He LOVED it! This is a kid who could stare at a screen for hours in the car and in 6 1/2 hours on the road going & coming back, he didn't once ask for his Kindle!! He had hot wheels out and was racing them all over the mat. Great size play area. Big without taking up more than the space in his booster seat. Very easy to use. For around his car seat which he and I both liked, his cars stayed put. Our son doesn't get much screen time so he is ually all about it in the car.... until now. So happy with our purchase!
