My husband works the night shift and the black out curtains I bought doesn't block enough of the light. So in a desperate attempt to stop him from hanging a blanket over my curtains, I bought this. At first I was worried it wouldn't make enough of a difference. You can see from my pic it blocks some light, but it still seems bright. But we were very happy with the results when the curtains were on! I would recommend, it was easy to put up and definitely blocked the amount of light coming in. I've also attached a pic of the window from the outside so you can see the difference.

This product worked great cuts easy and aslong as you use alot of soapy water it will slap right on and dosent bubble up but please please please clean the heck out of your windows first use a razor blade if theres any impurities because this gives you just enough to do a full glass/back window (ford F350 in my case) and the 2 passanger windows. Maybe some left over to redo a window if you mess up. Dont let it stick to itself either when you remove it to try and apply it its a (CLING ON NO GLUE) SO STATIC ATTRACTS!!! but if it does get stuck just use soap and water it was easy and i had mine installed in 30-40 mins take your time and have fun yall.

I have an "arch" on top of one bedroom window and recently put a TV in the room. Too much light was coming in so I tried this as a test to see if I wanted to permanently darken the window. I liked that it's temporary and can be easily removed. I used the white paper inside box to cut a template and then cut to fit. The static cling works great if you spray the window with water as you're applying covering.

Easy to apply, incredibly dark but easy to see out of during the day. Of course at night if the inside lights are on it is easy to see in and hard to see out but if you use this to filter sun or reduce heat from the sun it is fantastic. On my basement windows so no light at night to worry about. The only trouble I had was trimming it to fit the window. The material is very thick and even using new razor blades I could not get an edge that didn't tear a little. From the outside you can't tell just a little from the inside.

We have used this 5% on sides and the clear on top of our solarium. Very good quality film. Easy to install. You can see through from outside with lights on inside but dark view. We have used other brands in the past but this is the easiest. Installs either side to glass and you dont have to peel it off the paper backing. Its just rolled up loose. True test for heat this summer but I can already tell its blocking heat. Love this product and comes in wider sizes.
