Was looking for a reasonable door chime for our outer office door to allow us to hear if/when folks came in, and found this. Simple installation, even on older/beveled door frame, and it works very well. Volume and chime can be adjusted, and receiver/speaker can be placed in any nearby outlet to also moderate the chime. Overall, very pleased with the product for the money, and would recommend. Our assistant liked it so much she bought one for her home.

When you pull the plastic diffuser out to activate the battery, it moves the battery and spring out of place. This caused ours to send out phantom chimes( no one opening the door). I went to the troubleshooting guide that Amazon required the manufacturer to post and followed the directions and now it works perfectly

The bell is Loud and does what it's supposed to do. Only reason I went with 4 stars is because I'd like extra adhesive since the small sensor seems to keep coming off and sometimes I wish there was an app or remote for the sound selection but I'm otherwise satisfied!
