Great bed for the price

We really like this bed. It's sturdy enough, looks pretty decent, and holds our mattress just fine without any added slats or box spring. (We have a Luma All Latex mattress in case anyone is wondering. The additional weight of the latex vs memory foam isn't an issue at all.)
I withheld one star for 2 reasons:
- Some of the pieces came slightly scratched. It's not at all a deal breaker for me, but a brand new anything should look brand new.
- The bed comes with 1 piece of extra hardware per type. (So one extra of each bolt, nut, and washer). This seems like a nice thing to do, but for me, when you're done assembling something, you should be able to confirm that you did it correctly by seeing that you've used all the parts provided. Extra bolts just casts doubt for me. It's super petty, but that's my thing.
Overall, I'd recommend this bed to anyone.

Item was easy to build and it works out great for my preteen. The only negatives are that the nuts/bolts were a bit rusty and headboard is a bit wiggly. All nuts and bolts have been tightened, but it still wiggles.

Okay, so we ordered this in October and it arrived all bent out of shape as you see in the pictures, we requested replacement parts and they sent out another bed with no added cost to me...now keep in mind I had to stay on them and make sure it was being sent out. It is now December, and we have finally received the "parts/new bed" and have put it together (in picture). It was very simple and the directions were pretty straight forward. Hopefully you receive a bed in Good condition so you don't have to go through all the trouble, but the company made up for it.

This is truly easy to assemble. I am a woman in my sixties and I do not put things together generally. My husband does that. This time I wanted to try.
I put aside Saturday and Sunday, even though many reviewers said it just took a few hours.
I unpacked everything and another reviewer was right. It took more time to unpack and inventory than anything else! I followed the picture directions carefully and had no problems at all.
They supply you with a few extra screws and nuts and bolts and things which is very nice. I did not need them but kept them just in case.
I assembled this in about an hour and a half. The only thing I asked my husband to do was to test the torque and tightness of the screws before putting in the slats (the very last step). I had not wanted to over tighten anything as I was putting it together. He checked and tightened some of them.
I then asked him to help me put the slats in as it was just easier to do with a person on each side. So he spent about 5 minutes helping.
Truly easy and very cute. Looks great - we have it in a guest room.
