I was looking for an inexpensive player with cassette, FM, and Bluetooth capabilities that looked like something I would have bought in the 1980s. This fits the bill. It's smaller than it looks in the photos (there's only one cassette deck, which should give you an idea of its actual size) but it's cute, solidly built, and legitimately retro. It does everything I wanted it to. The Bluetooth pairs flawlessly with my phone, but I've mostly been playing old cassettes. I took the advice of some reviews and ran the tape player for a while without anything in it before putting an actual cassette in there, and have had no tape-eating problems. There's no auto-reverse, but you don't want that anyway. The sound quality isn't awesome, but it's OK if you turn the bass up all the way, and given the age/quality of the 25-year-old mix tapes I'm playing I don't mind. I have a professional-quality Walkman that still works if I want to listen to my better tapes, or make quality recordings.

As a side note, my 8 year old kid LOVES this thing. I think it's a lot more satisfying for him to have tapes (I gave him a few to call his own) and physically play them himself than it is to beg me to stream something for him from my phone. I made him a mix of his own and he carries this thing everywhere to listen to it, dutifully unplugging and plugging it back in because I have yet to buy D batteries (it takes 4, just like the old days) for it. It's well worth the $46.

Just gonna hit some simple points. Great design, a copy of an old GE boombox i actually have. Build quality isnt bad, sound quality isnt bad. I would have given sound quality 4 stars if it werent for the fact that the volume levels vary per function. So the radio and the tape functions are FAR louder than bluetooth or SD. Actually surprised by the tape deck. Im no audiophile, but i know what sounds bad, and i cant hear any wow or flutter at all from the mechanism so that was a great surprise, very decent sound quality from tape. SW functions arent half bad either concidering the antenna size. Portability also coulve gotten 5 stars instead of 4, but it uses D batteries which is kind of insane, the 80's GE its copying even uses AA'S. but of course for the money im happy with it for sure.

-UPDATE: okay so after disabling normalize volume on my phone, bluetooth volume is the same as radio and sd. Awesome. Secondly, ive been running this stereo for 8 hours a day at work, since i bought it. On batteries. 12 days ago. Absolutely awesome battery life. Nearly full volume all 8 hours. Cant even believe it. Edit again. Has to be a month later, same 4 D's. Insane.

The media could not be loaded. To listen to all the hundreds of cassette collections I have from decades ago. Especially my father's recordings of The Holy Quran recitation.

Sounds alright for tha 2 speakers amd bass control i feel like it should be just more thump power and(bass)and bestter sound quality recording on this is not very ideal at all actually it slows down everynow n den so when ur done its slow and goes back to regular speed to often which is annyoying so recording doesn't stay at one speed like all others ive used or had but thats ok its not to bad playing cassettes actually is good isnt tha best like i said with sound quality it sounds like tha speakers aremt strong like cheap speakers but it gets it done its not too loud for 2 speakers i used to have a sony about same size with no bass control and only 1 speaker with less power that even sounds so gooddd but its not to bad radio is actually really good i love it it does record off radio and aux pretty sure it would record off USB and sd to cassette not so sure about Bluetooth thats not y i bought it and its actually really light smaller then how sum picture shows misleading but it fits in a purse thats not to small or a bag any size also not to small of a bag i use tha battery to power it and it takes 6 C battery if i remember correctly i dont use tha cord but it works with cord too jist as same as battery i prefer batterys but tha cord is really good too sound quality isnt terrible i just real like it should or could be just a lil better handle is slick! Aux works real well for mp3 or touchscreen i like mp3 better (no ads ) my lil sister connected to Bluetooth once that i know of and it had good range not to bad played toonz with same quality as radio its just casstte aound quality could be better my opinion i bought this for radio casstte and aux wuz a bonus everything else like bt Usb Sd is like add ons to me overall pretty good not to bad

Bought this for my dad and he loved it, works well and is very loud!
