Direct Replacement for Older PSU

This is a great power supply replacement for an older PC. Being a Dell, finding a compatible power supply was worrisome, but this unit was a perfect fix. 4 screws, a couple of plugs and I was up and running again. Literally, a 5 minute fix. Took longer figuring out how to open the case than it did swapping out the PSU. Great value too for keeping an older PC running.

The PSU arrived about a day sooner than expected. It seemed insufficiently packaged in a plastic bag (no box), a sheet of foam wrap and tape plus the shipping papers. Unfortunately, I could see and hear pieces of a broken circuit board rattling around inside it and it was non-functional. The replacement and return processes were easy, and I received the second PSU similarly wrapped, although this time it seemed undamaged. Installation was simple (removed power cord, four screws, a clip and and about 5 internal power connectors,swapped PSU, reconnected everything in reverse order). New PSU is working as expected.
