I bought a previous pair, but due to the size being way to small due to being from china, I had to purchase another pair, these are great, the pads are super thick and in the right places, very comfortable, the only issue I have with these is they are very thick, so I cannot wear them under my pants, but I do wear them on the outside and its OK... Just wanted it not to show, didn't realize how thick it actually was... But I bet if I fall on my ass, I will be just fine.

These work good, they fit good, padding is in the right places. I thought they were pretty good price. I use them under some inexpensive hockey I pants for extra padding for hip, or tailbone particularly. Before I got them, I landed on my hip and didn't have good padding, and a few weeks later was foot swept from behind and landed on my tailbone - that took about a couple weeks to feel completely better. I've been skating a long time, so nothing has happened since I got them, but feels like good extra protection and I tested them the best I could.

High quality product. The padding is about 5/8" thick, made of rubber that is very light and the right amount of hardness - not too soft, not too hard.
The back panel covers well the lower part of the backbone.
The shorts are constructed very well - I could easily remove and reinsert the rubber panels. (I used the shorts for karting, and I needed only the back panel and the top side panels.) At the same time, the panel pockets are constructed in a way that the panels don't move around or fall off.
I am size 28 (waist) and I bought M size shorts. The size felt right. Perhaps a bit bigger, but I thought that size S would be too small for me, as I have athletic built in the thighs.
