As an older grandma with a bad back, I wanted some help for when I needed it to carry my 16lb squirmy grandson around. It's got comfy padded shoulders, the carry zone is attached to the straps which are attached to the belt around your torso, so baby's weight is distributed well. I'm a short but very plump woman and it was comfy for me.
