This product is great for what it does! Gives an hour glass shape, keeps everything in place, and I tried it on for like 2 minutes and was already sweating! Once I read the instructions, it was easy to figure out how it's supposed to stay on your body. I won't say it helps with posture much, but it wasn't painful to have on like most waist trainers. The smell wasn't bad to me! It just smelled like a new product? For the money I spent, I'd give this 4/5 stars! The loss of one star is just cause it's a bit bulky if you don't put it on right so then it'll show through clothes.
This one exceeded my expectations!! It’s worth a try.

OMG ... it's better than I thought! I'm a little shocked. I was looking for a smaller sweat waist trainer and decided this one might work.
Let me start by saying that I've worn waist sweat trimmers for over two years. They make a difference in inches lost on my waist size because I wear them consistently every single day. But more importantly, I wear it everything single time I workout which is 4 or 5 times a week. If you're disciplined, eating, and working out, sweat waist trainers work by giving you a little extra help in addition to everything else you're doing. However, if you don't break a sweat when using it will likely not make a difference.
Before this one, I've always used the one design with a single wideband that you wrap around with the big velcro attachment (specifically the Sweet Sweat brand). As I've got smaller, it started to bother me that my waist I looked larger when wearing the other brand causing me to wear it less. Enter Mermaid Waist Trimmer!! It instantly made my waist appear smaller, support's my back (which I did not know was needed but a bonus), and while I've not yet worked out in it, I believe it's going to get-it-done there too. I'm still wearing it now and don't want to take it off.

In my opinion, Amazon has started to be touch-and-go over the last few years where "reviews" are questionable at best and you don't know if you can or should trust them anymore. So I'm making a point to leave reviews when I come across a quality product that does what it says. So I'm a real person!! I've actually purchased this with my own money and no one sent it to me nor am I being paid in any way. If you want more REAL reviews on Amazon, make sure to make that THIS ONE was a "helpful" review. I believe it can help get it to the top. I really like it because it really does holds the curve shape even with chubby belly. Only thing I do not like is that it pinches my boob, it hurts. So I fold the top a bit and wead the belt. Otherwise it is pretty thin and nice stretchy belt.

It definitely is a good waist trimmer. I have been using it for a little over a month. I can't say it makes anything smaller or tighter. I work out almost every day. It definitely makes you sweat! It pours off me when I take it off. I also use a grapeseed based body butter (body glaze) to increase sweat. It's better than like sweet sweat or whatever. Anything really thick type body butter or even coconut oil will work. My favorite thing about it is it makes you look snatched and not bulky like the sweet sweat belt.
