I actually bought these on accident and needed a different size screw... WELL, THIS COMPANY IS INCREDIBLE!!! They went above and beyond to help me! They helped me figure out which screws I actually needed and they sent them to me FAST and free of charge. They also did not have me go through the hassle of sending these screws back! Bought these for earthquake straps

Just got a Samsung Q70R 65" and was trying to figure out how to mount some earthquake straps.
When I looked in the holes on the back, all I could see was a Hex head for either a screw or bolt that was at the bottom of the hole so I was totally confused about whether I needed to get it out to put a bot in it or not. There is absolutely nothing in the instructions other than using a 41/43 mm bolt for attaching the straps.
I tried Samsung support chat and that was worthless as the "Pro" told me to get a technician to install the bolts. So I kept looking in the hole at different angles and finally saw that there were some threads in there.
Now that I look back on it, it's a bit embarrassing but you would think that the Samsung "Pro" would have mentioned that there were threads in the hole.
I'm writing this so that it may help anyone else that has the same confusion that I did, LOL.

The M8 bolts are per specs. The problem was that Samsung TV's (my model anyway) do not come with mounting bolts. I THOUGHT my M8 bolts did not fit, that they were too narrow in diameter. Working with Steve of QuipFlex found that the bolt threads do not engage until the last 1/2 inch of the bolt opening. With the depth of the mount the M8 bolts only catch about 1/4 inch worth. 😳 Very strange design "feature" on Samsung's part. Working with Steve was great. He sent me, immediately at no cost to me, a bit longer bolts for additional mounting security. Could not be more pleased with Steve and QuipFlex. Am mystified that Samsung causes its customers such grief to save themselves at most a few pennies per TV.
Make sure you know exactly the size you need.
