There are supposed to be three long straps for wrist and one shorter for thumb. My third wrist strap was too short to secure - but the thumb strap had excess I could cut off. An ordinary stapler allowed me to use the cutoff to extend the inadequate strap. Works fine, no return hassle required - but should be better inspected.

This was recommended by my doctor to wear for a short period of time. He recommended this because of the quality of price and for the adjustment. It was easy to adjust to my arm size and I appreciated the price. The one for the doctors office was twice the price of the one from Amazon. It was also very comfortable because I had to sleep with it at night. Never bothered me once while sleeping. Was able during the day to wear it and do every day chores because only my thumb was restricted from movement. I recommend this very highly.
