I received nice pieces of walnut, cut to the sizes described. These are a bit rough and will require sanding, but I expected that. For the amount of time it would have taken me to resaw and cut these pieces, this is a good value.

A couple of pieces came chipped, but for the job I was doing I could easily fill with wood filler and then sand down and stain. I get lots of compliments on the finished product. All in all, I would buy again, but if you're looking for extremely high quality, you might want to look somewhere else.

I bought these boards to clad and refurbish a 40+ year old fly (for fly fishing) display case. It was easy to work with and the boards were practically defect free. Very nice grain. Seemed a little expensive, but overall well worth the price. Boards sanded to an extremely smooth finish. Four coats of Danish oil made the finished display case look like a beautiful piece of high end furniture. I'm very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended.
