Too Wide Solution

Mounting feet on many new TV's today are too wide to sit on platforms used by the sets they are replacing. This TV Stand Tabletop mount solves that problem by mounting the TV using the wall mount VESA attachment on back of the TV, which will generally be less than 20 inches wide. The kit provided by this vendor was excellent, as it included multiple sizes of screws and standoffs required for almost any size of TV. This worked great in my case where I was mounting a 50 inch TV inside a closet. Since these mountings are not as wide as those provided with the TV, you should be sure to use a safety strap to secure the set to a fixed wall or shelf.

Great TV stand legs. I had to modify the spacers a bit for it to work but it works great! it gives you plenty of different size screws and spacers too for the installation and the instructions are clear.

I was given a 65" TV, and could not find a base to use for the tv, so needed to improvise.
I ordered this, maybe took 30 minutes to attach to the tv and safely prop it up (additional time due to the size and weight).
I'd say for 55 and smaller this would do great. The 65" tv I have it is stable, but I remain a little concerned if the tv is at a risk to tip over easier. Even looking at it you would see the legs of this stand May look a little strained if using an older or heavier tv.
Good for now, I'll update as time goes along

We moved about 3 years ago, during the move our TV stand got broken. We are just replacing it however between the move and now I have been petrified that it would fall over on someone because the stand was not very stable. This TV stand is by no means flimsy in design. It is solid metal and strong. I am glad that I found this one. It does what it says. I don't have to worry anymore about my TV falling over it stands solid as a rock, stays in place.... and I am using it on a 55-inch flat screen. Very satisfied.
