I used it for the first time to make a large batch of chili. I found that when you go to install the lid it is quite difficult with food in the pot. It took 2 people to do it. The hing has to fit just right in between the pot and the warmer. It is easier when you install it ahead of time. I just think that they could have done better on that hinge assembly. That being said I love the pot and it worked great. A number of people commented on it. I definitely would recommend it

I got this warmer to keep soup hot at family gathering. It is a 10 quart so big enough for large gatherings. When filling in water in the inner pan , make sure that it lines up with the collar and should not "float".
It even comes with a magnetic sign with changeable menu .
