Honest review. For the price and features, this is an excellent product. The setup was straight forward and the app (IP Pro) worked very well on tablet devices. The display picture is sharp and the motion detection worked well for me. Do not expect the world as you are not paying a worldly sum, and you will be happy. Each situation is different --- but for my needs --- I am pleased with the purchase. Cannot comment on the longevity at this point. Two improvements that could improve the product: 1. When you have just 2 cameras, allow there to be a split screen to show those 2 cameras only --- your choice is kind of show 1 camera or 4 cameras simultaneously --- of which 2 will be blank. 2. Even at the lowest volume setting, the alarm is awful loud if your are sitting in the room where the the display/alarm is located. FYI, I did buy a second unit.....................

This is exactly what we were looking for. Nothing fancy, not overloaded with bells and whistles. We just wanted to see who was at the front door before opening it (frosted glass front doors, can't see through). Package arrived quickly and packed well. Easy to use - NVR monitor runs either off electricity or batteries which was VERY IMPORTANT TO US, so when we were outside in the back of house, we could bring monitor with us to see who rang the door bell. The cameras, we had an electrician run electric so cameras were installed through soffit of house. But, you can plug the cameras in anywhere as long as you have an electrical outlet. You can set it up to cover the area you want, use an alarm if you want, use just motion, program to record when you want; set to record automatically with motion, there is an app you can download so you can receive notification over your phone if you want.
We did have a problem with the NVR monitor not running on battery only. Monitor wouldn't work off battery. Emailed seller, and received a replacement monitor. Had issues reprograming NVR monitor to match with cameras since cameras were synched with original monitor. Once again, emailed seller and with their help - I was able to reset cameras to match up with the new monitor --- took less than 2 minutes!!! Simple fix!!! Seller sent a video demonstrating how to link cameras to monitor....perfect! Long story short----we are VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT, it is exactly what we wanted. Now we will know who is on the other side of the door...can talk directly to the person. Yup, very happy with this product. Thank you to Will for his patience and quick response. I highly recommend this product! Somebody knock at my door!!!!

I have owned several different brands of wireless security camera systems very similar to this one, that is they had two cameras and a portable monitor. No question, the Tonton is the best. Highly recommended!

Over the years, as new features became available, such as night vision, Internet connectivity and higher resolution, I would upgrade my system. My last system was 720p and triggered on every movement, and I mean even bugs flying in front of the camera. The night vision was so poor that it was basically useless. Then the internal battery pack, which was not user serviceable, started bulging and cracking the plastic on the back of the monitor. This gave me a good reason to purchase the Tonton system and am I ever happy that I did.

The Tonton gives me every option that I ever wanted with one exception. I would like to be able to turn off the Infrared LEDs at times, but I don't think there is any system that will do that. The build quality is very good all around, and I was especially impressed with the camera mounts... they are beefy and solid. By far the best mounts that I have ever seen on these types of cameras. Image quality is stunning, both day and night. On my old system, I could barely recognize myself at night. There would have been no way to identify a stranger. The Tonton has very good night vision. The batteries on the Tonton are common 18650 which are user replaceable. That's a big plus to me, but you don't even need the batteries unless you want to run the monitor in a portable mode. I cannot speak to long term performance because I have only had it for a few days. I did need some tech support (to find a setting in the menu) and they were very responsive.

The cameras auto-synced right out of the box and I was blown away by the 1080 resolution, coming from 720p. To me, 1080 is a must have! I am a very demanding consumer. I have high expectations of products that I buy, and I was not disappointed with the Tonton. In fact I am thrilled with it.

Bottom Line: The Tonton system has amazing quality and features, especially considering the very modest price. Then consider that you get the 18650 batteries and 32GB memory card included, now that's a great deal.

The system is easy to set up - just plug in and switch on. I had a minor issue with the setup, which required me to email TonTon support. But they emailed me back within about 8 hours with the solution - excellent support.

This Ton Ton Security Wireless two-way audio portable security camera wireless with 7" LCD Touchscreen is very easy to setup and get up and running! It is surprisingly strong. The video quality is very good also! The 7" touchscreen acts as a monitor and does multifunction. It also has kickstand so can be set on your desk at the office, barn, factory or home and always see the camera activity without logging into anything else. There is software that comes with it, easy setup. The charm with this unit is that you can add more cameras; and you can choose to connect them either via ethernet or wireless. There is one thing to remember though, the cameras do need power, which is supplied.

The casing for the cameras are very strong and has a professional appearance. The LCD monitor, which is also the NVR if you insert a microSD Card, has dual antennas for a stronger signal wifi reception. TonTon supplies a 32gb microSD card inside the box along with all the attachments. This kit will work well in any setting where space is an issue. I specifically like that feature because I needed it for a space limited storage unit. This is not my first Ton Ton Security purchase. I am a fan! Will post a video review when I get a chance.
