This works really well if you have a window where you need a little privacy. I used it on my bedroom window which is right by a walking path. It takes a little patience to figure out the best way to apply the liquid on the window to get it to stick and to scrape the bubbles out from behind it but once you do, it is super easy.

Overall, it was super easy and forgiving. At one point, i pulled a piece of and crumpled it up, thinking that I couldn't use it again. After, I realized I didn't have enough to do the rest of the window and un-crumpled it. It went on fine and you couldn't even see that it had been crumpled.

I have looked at it from the outside and during the day you cannot see through it at all. At night, especially over time, if you have bright lights on inside, you can still see in but it is just a little dimmer.

The media could not be loaded. We have a suction cup window bird feeder that we just put up. We found that birds were easily scared away even by background movement in the house. I bought this one-way mirrror window film because it was reasonably priced but was skeptical it would work based on some of the reviews. When it arrived and I put it up, I was still uncertain as it seems fairly translucent and I could see in from the outside. But within a day, I realized this film works amazingly well! Birds don't seem to see in at all and our 2 cats are having the time of their life watching birds all day. Some birds don't even seem fazed when my cats scratch on the window right in front of them! We've been getting cardinal, wren, chickadee, titmouse, finch, even big blue jay visitors all day long! It was super easy to install - I put it on the 2 lower panes of the window where the feeder is as I found that when the cats approached from the side the birds would leave! It's like an invisible cloak for the cats! There are a few bubbles I can't get out but not in the prime viewing area. Viewing is clear - just light tinting. Really happy I got this. After reading all the reviews, I almost did not buy this product. But then I read one review that had so much detail and the main focus of this persons review that you have to use "TONS OF SOAPY WATER". For the price, I had to try it. I applied this product on the outside part of the window. I cleaned the window with just a car window cleaner (Chemical Guys). Then I cut the film to size. Yes, I did read the instructions and they do say to cut with a little extra, but I am just that good. I had my with help me, with two small pieces of painter tape (it's what I had close by), I sprayed the window with soapy water heavily and when I started to peel the film back I had my wife the film. Hung it in place and slide it to fit perfectly. Used a small ice scraper ( why not ) to get rid of the extra water. DONE ! SO EASY. APPILED IN 30 degree weather.

I tell everyone about this paper. My room is an extension to my home and the insulation is horrible. When it's cold out, my room is colder than outside. When it's hot out, my room is hotter than outside. Last summer I kept the AC on all the time. After I installed this paper my room feels so much cooler and though it isn't summer yet it is pretty hot in NY already, high 90s. My room would feel so stuffy when I got home from work before installing the paper but now I get home and I don't feel the stuffiness. A lot of time I just use the fan now but when I use the AC I am able to keep the AC on eco mode and most days I have it on 67-69, prior to the paper I had it on 62 and could not do ECO mode because as soon as I turned the AC off The room would be so hot. I use to have a big thick sheet over one window and a black out curtain to keep the light and whatever weather out and I was able to finally remove the ugly sheet because the paper really blocks the heat out so much and now I can actually open the window in to let light shine. I think the color I bought (I got blue tint) makes the lighting seem more natural. I attached the picture to show the top without the paper and the bottom is the color of the paper on a sunny day. I bought it in two sizes 23.6x6.5 feet AND 29.5inches x 13.1 feet because I had 2 huge windows that required more paper. Best purchase I ever made. I'm obsessed!
Installing took a little longer because I did it alone and because my precision skills are not great. I should've measured but I did follow another review in leaving extra paper and I used an exacto knife to cut once on the window. You need a credit card or something hard to get the air bubbles out I found wetting the paper once on the window helped get them out.

Purchased to block TV remote from controlling electric fireplace. Worked to stop the volume and channel buttons from turning fireplace on and changing settings. I only used the smallest possible amount on the front of the fireplace to block the signal since this is darker than I expected. I should note the fireplace is on a different wall than the TV so if anyone else plans on using this product for the issue I had you would probably have to cover the entire glass and I would assume the fireplace remote would no longer work. I have controls on the front of the fireplace and if I point the tv remote directly at the fireplace I can turn it on and off (pointing the remote at the tv has no affect).
