As many others have stated, it does not "chill" the water, it simply has a radiator that cools it down to ambient. I needed house adapters that were not provided with the unit but home depot had a bunch.

I purchased this unit as a replacement for a different model that had sprung multiple pinhole leaks in the coils. I was skeptical to purchase one of these cooler units online because most of the listings are inconsistent and full of errors, but this one was acceptable. This model has more features than the original, was easy to install, and worked right away. The unit was also way cheaper than the quoted replacement price for the original. Very happy with the transaction, cooler unit, and seller.

Finally looking out upgraded versions of this machine going to be sad to put it into retirement but to be fair thanks still running like a charm. One thing that I admit that sucks about it is in the summer you have to connect to the small AC unit to it to keep it running the same but other than that thing still chugged along no problem.

If you have a K40, this is an absolute must have, in conjunction with their laser coolant. It takes two gallons so expect to spent $80.00 for two gallons and also expect it to take two to three weeks for arrival BUT...it makes a massive difference in cooling so it should be a non issue if you take your K40 serious.
In conjunction with this cooler, I upgraded all lines to stiff vinyl lines with a flow meter to top it off.
Make sure, wherever you install this, that the area around it, the unit is free to breathe, because it takes your ambient room temp air and runs that air over the radiator with a fan dissipating the heat over the coils. This means no enclosures or if you do, keep the doors open while running.
Beautifully well constructed except for the misleading in and out connections which in pics, display as brass, but they are plastic. So...I changed that too to all brass. I have no time for cheap plastic for such large investments.
