CM2000 - Day One
Used the xfinity android app on my phone to add the modem to mt comcast/xfinity internet. No issues at all, just followed the easy to understand instructions. Did not have to contact anyone at comcast/xfinity.
I went with Netgear again - the CM1100 I bought back in March of 2021 (about 2 and a half years ago still works fine but I am getting ready to upgrade my speed so since CM1100 is only certified with Xfinity with speeds up to 800Mbps I updated to this 2.5Gbps capable modem.
My only nitpick is that there is no on/off power button but in reality that is not a big deal if I'm not going to be home for a day or more I always switch the surge protector's power switch to off.
Reinstalling the eero 6 plus went off without a hitch too.

I recently became an Xfinity/Comcast customer and I purchased the Motorola modem... Nothing but trouble. I had 6 to 10 internet drop outs daily. I bought this CM2050V to see if the performance would be better. It's worked 100% for 5 days now and (nothing) has required a reboot. Everything has been working well without any technical support by me or anyone else needed. I know its expensive, but go with this unit!
Modem Setup Pains

I bought the modem only so I could set up a mesh system. Most people say it is super easy but that is only if you buy the modem that comes with the router. Basically my router was telling me that the modem wasn't sending a signal and my modem was saying I needed to set up through the Nighthawk portal but unable to use the router. Finally after some hours, much research later, and resetting them both multiple times it just work (going to be honest, I am afraid to unplugging them at this point). Also, you need to know that if you are with Xfinity, you have to call them so they can set up your new modem. It will not work through the app.
Other than that, this modem works great. No more fighting for a connection or dealing with slower speeds at peak hours. Just a consistent, strong connection.

Instructions Need Improvement

The instructions show that you have to set up using a laptop. This is not true if you have a router or an older Netgear Modem. You can just plug and play & CALL YOUR INTERNET PROVIDER AND GIVE THEM THE MAC NUMBER (found at the bottom of the modem). A lot less stressful then waiting for the solid green light that will never come!!!! Set up aside, I am happy with the purchase.
