This product is pretty good. The only down fall to it is that there are no installation instructions. Only tells you how to assemble the product. Overall a good value.

Assembly is much easier if you attach one flat metal guide to one awning support frame first with supplied screw then attach assembled awning roof in the guide slot then attach the final rounded edge metal piece with supplied screw. Attach the second support frame starting with the metal flat piece and attach with supplied screw and then final up the final assembly. Very important to get the awning in the guide slot on framing sludge.

Ok so yeah theres a lack of direction here, but if you a "builder" type you"ll get it after 10 minutes...but heres some help...the pictures to show how to put on the metal pieces...the rounded pieces goes on the bottom the smooth side of the top piece goes facing up. Now just completely ignore putting this together first cause there ain't nothing to hold it together. Sooooo....I figured out a faster way that made putting the 2nd one together quick. Lay the plastic bracket down and put the flexy stuff in it, this stuff will fight you so just do one piece. Start with the top half. Now the screw at the top were hard to get into, seems like bad hole alignment. I screwed the screw in and had to lift the flexy piece out to align the screw...or you can just blindly do it and yeah itll go into it but not in the right place..unless you can see the hole visually...your outta luck. Ok so once thats in...add the joining plastic piece.. I slide it down...same with the 2nd flexy piece....then ...flip it carefully cause you havent put the bottom screw in yet...attach the top bracket then flip and do the last one...this was the fastest for me...2nd one took 10 minutes...your welcome...oh ps...the metal tubing didnt make much sense to me for the mounting cause it slides right through the hole so theres no counter pressure...I'll have to figure something else out.

Don't like the fact that it had no instillation instructions and the plastic flexes and falls out of the frame in the wind.

LOVE it! I actually bought it for my new chicken coop that has a 30"+ window that's west facing, so I needed shade (as well as stopping rain getting in) and still being able to keep the window open.
My hubby cut it down to fit very easily. I was surprised at how lightweight it was coming out of the box and shocked at how strong it was once it was put up. It took two of us to actually fit it. I highly recommend it; although we haven't been through the wind, rain and snow storms yet so can't comment on that. I originally bought it because of shade and rain protection, and it's doing the job! Looks great on our new coop build.
