This bed is exactly as described it does take some time to put together. It all comes in one box but there is a lot of pieces, and it takes about 45 minutes to put together. Now I saw reviews where people saw it isn't sturdy, but we have a 14-inch memory foam mattress on the bed, and I weigh 235 pounds and my husband weighs 169 pounds and we have had no problems at all with the frame so far and it has been 5 days now that we have been using it. It does tell you in the instructions not to tighten down the screws till you are done maybe they missed finishing tightening down some screws. That is one thing we did do was go over it a second time once we were finished to make sure all screws were tightened down all the way. If there is any changes as time goes on I will come back and repost.

I've had the bed for about a month & so far no issues. It appears to be sturdy & holds the mattress in place. It took about 2-3 hours to assemble. I really love how it looks.
