Side compressions are great but elastic that goes towards the thigh is starting to get loose after 5 uses so maybe get one with Velcro strap

I like the knee brace it's easy to get on and off and it puts a decent amount of pressure on my knee. The only bad thing about them is the stuff they put in them on the inside is glued in and they came off. I had to sew them in the brace and that wasn't easy. So I bought another one so I could change them out when they get dirty. The other one I bought so far have stayed in secure. There might be better ones out there but I was happy with this one.

I've had bad knees all of my life, so I've had lots of braces. I figured this one wouldn't work, because I generally have to strap a brace down hard for it to be of any help. But it had such great reviews! So I bought one. I used the trick of dampening my skin before pulling it on. That really helped keep it in place. And WITHOUT constricting anything, or making anything lose circulation, it helped a lot. I can't tell you why, it's a simple contraption. But it works like a shot.
May need one size larger.

Although the listing instructions say to measure the leg circumference 5.5 inches above the kneecap, this might not be the case for special cases. Although I measured the leg circumference 5.5 inches above the kneecap, I could not pull this brace over the kneecap. The extra small did not work and I needed a larger size (small). Perhaps it would have worked for a "normal" person, but the prescribed measurement technique did not work for me as my kneecap to leg circumference ratio is non-standard. I'm looking forward to trying the next larger size.

I'm pretty shocked and wish I had gotten it sooner. I've had on and off knee pain for years. I've always used an adjustable strap one and it used to work but it wasn't helping lately. I found this and it has helped so much. I followed the sizing recommendations and it fits great I have not had to adjust it one single time.
The design keeps my knee in place and stops it from moving in the wrong way and pulling on that painful spot. I'm not entirely sure what is wrong with my knee I've never had it checked as it seems to get injured then go away a few days later. This time though I'm going on 3 weeks because I keep irritating it and not resting it.
