The reason why I bought this product was because it got good reviews for the price. But as the saying goes you get what you paid for and so far it's been a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PRODUCT!!!! First when I installed it my TV screen was purple so I unhooked and reinstalled it and finally worked. when I turned my TV back on the purple screen was there again so I did the same thing and went back to normal. My other complaint is that the button to change HDMI ports is SO UNRESPONSIVE!!! I have to press it up to 5 times Hard so it can finally switch and since it's UNRESPONSIVE when I press the button it always skips the HDMI port I want to use. Overall this product is bad

UPDATE- The seller contacted me and was very persistent to fix the problem to make things right for me. They sent me a replacement unit that works better than the 1st. I'm changing my 1 star to 4 stars for replacing it with a unit that works. Thank you

My Sony TV has 2 HDMI inputs which were full with my DVD player, and Amazon Fire Stick. I wanted to add the HDMI from my Raspberry Pi. This device did the trick! I can select in the input I need and it displayed clearly on the screen.

This will help add 3 more HDMI inputs for a single HDMI output from this device. So unplug one of your HDMI cables from your TV and plug it into the input of this switcher. Then plug the output from this switcher into the TV. And now you can add 2 more HDMI cables to this switcher! Excellent and easy plug and play operation!

II really have no luck with HDMI splitters.
Again, on the second day, the light stopped working and became not responding.
I tried replacing all the HDMI cables, but no change.
I am a challenger and am going to buy another brand again lol

I got the same product again, this time it is working well as expected. If it works as it should, it is very easy and convenient to use.

EDIT 10/3/23: was given full refund, and Seller was extremely responsive!

I did not know item does not work with Samsung TV. It works intermittently and screen goes black. Gets very heated and stops working.

LOL! Okay. Apologies. This device took me by surprise & I can't help but laugh! That's completely on me, not the product. So .... Reading the reviews, I couldn't help being concerned. That being said, I kept the old adage "get what you pay for" in mind. Still, I'm amusingly surprised; well as confused. Confusion first. Ratings ask for stars on "remote" and "sleep mode" .... huh? Neither exist, nor offered in the original device description. Must be an error. Make no mistake. This is a basic, 1 in, 3 out HDMI expansion box; nothing more. That said; the unit functions quite well. HDMI connection to my laptop and PS game consoles are snug fitting. the device delivers outstanding sound and no loss in picture quality or clarity. A+ all the way. I've not experienced any issues receiving picture in any i - 2 - 3 input mode solo. Some reviews indicated all 3 had to be turned on in order for this unit to function. I find that NOT to be the case. Now ... this device IS TINY! I don't know what I was expecting; but I feel like my big fumble hands are going to break the thing! It looks like it was made for a Smurf! The L.E.D. lights for 1 - 2 - 3 position are quite useless. They too are tiny; ... about the size of a pinhead. They're also not very bright. All that said; keeping cost in mind, ... I am very pleased with the device performance so far. I hope it will last. My one concern might rest with the single button to switch 1 - 2 - 3. At present, switching between devices can be done with ease. Again, some reviews indicated the need to push really hard to change. No issues here. How long before it wears out? ... Time will tell. Til then, ... Very Pleased!
