I purchased the antenna for my radio to get better reception. Indeed, it's very easy for instalation and it's empowered, grearly, radio's reception. There is only one small issue with the plugging site. I used earphones' site for instalation of the antenna, however, it isn't stands up safely inside the place, and might fall down. I just need to find the right angle for my safety - not to be bumped in the face. Therefore, I gave four stars.

Reading the other reviews, I saw the chief complaint was the way the antenna flopped. When I took it out of the packaging, it seemed like it wouldn't do that, but as soon as I plugged it into my Bose radio, it flopped lol. My Bose is on top of my kitchen cabinets, so it was easy enough to extend the antenna a little bit and brace it against the ceiling to hold it in place. Now I have perfect reception! Why didn't I do this sooner??

I purchased this antennae on the advice of Bose customer service representative. Bose no longer made the antennae my radio required. I live in the end unit of a 4-story apartment building. The building next door is attached to ours and is brick and stone masonry. I was unable to get any reception on my radio. That problem has been resolved with this antennae. It has one major drawback.. As other reviewers have mentioned, this antennae doesn't stay upright after it is attached. Lucky for me the reception is clear with the antennae in a horizontal position.
