There are a lot of reviews about breaking the connection points between the flexible tubing and the phone mount. If you separate the phone mount (at least one side) before bending the tubing and then reconnect it, you will avoid this issue, otherwise you can inadvertently put a lot of stress on that socket and eventually break it. It's not an inconvenience since it's only held in place by magnets.
Absolutely perfection…… until it comes apart.
