Boy oh boy this thing was a lifesaver when our little guy got neutered. Forget those horrible cones! Once our puppy got used to getting dressed, it was easy to get on and off. There's a learning curve with a puppy, cause they think everything is a game. Darn cute! He looked pretty darling in this thing, but is of course all healed up and happy he no longer has to wear it!

Amazing product! I recently had my puppy spayed and since she is small, the vet recommended for her to wear a recovery onesie. I was debating or getting this one or a cheaper more generic one. I am so glad that I chose this one.

It is easy access for potty breaks. Unlike the cone, I was able to let her go potty by just rolling the onesie up. She was having problems going to the bathroom with the cone, since she could not smell the grass and often times got stuck. I also don't have to fear that dirt and grass are getting in her incision site.

She did have a couple of accidents in the onesie but it was easy to wash and didn't break. The red does bleed, I would suggest to soak it before washing it with other clothes. She wore it for two weeks and there are no rips and tears, good quality!

I felt bad with her sleeping with the cone, so the onesie helped herself more comfortably and helped me put my mind to rest. The cone was not comfortable for her in her tiny crate since it would take up space.

There is padding near the incision site to ensure that the incision is protected and padded against bumpy ground surfaces. I really like this because when I carried her, I was unable to really feel her sutures.

She didn't really lick at the incision site, maybe it is the onesie or maybe that is just how she is. I kept the onesie and cone on her for 14 days. The onesie was entire 14 days, where as the cone was just in the beginning or when i was at work and unable to watch her.

The onesie restrained her activity to run. She normally zooms around, but because of the onesie she is unable to do that. It also helps when i pick her up, that i am not stretching her too much "” since the onesie keeps everything close together.

All in all, I really like this onesie to the point where I am willing to type this much about it. I don't know the brand or really care where it is from, I just know that it does a really good job and helped a lot during the recovery of my puppy during her spay.

This product was such a lifesaver. I have a very strong-willed purebred Yorkshire Terrier puppy that was neutered this week. He was sent home from the vet with an e-collar. He did not like it and went to pull it over his head and got it stuck between his teeth. It was a bloody mess with a screaming dog. Someone suggested we take off the collar and put on a onesie. We tried this but unfortunately the onesies are made for children. Therefore the area at the crotch is loose and he would move it to the side and chew on his incision. I was desperate to find something so he wouldn't open the woundvand become infected. Luckily I went to Amazon and found this recovery suit. It fits just exactly as described and covers the area where he was neutered perfectly. Unlike the e-collar or the ill-fitting onesie, he is comfortable and happy as well as safe. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with an animal that has had a surgical procedure on their body that must remain untouched and dry to heal.

I tried this on before her spay and she wore it for a while and did not mind. The vet put it on her post op. She never bothered her incision much for the first 3 days so I took it off. Mistake! Sutures must have gotten itchy later as she started to lick them so I had to put it back on her. You have to put the velcro pieces up over her back above the tail for the dog to do business, and it worked. No mess on her little onsie! :)
