I have always skimped on rug pads in the past and just bought thin rubber gripping pads. This time around, the rug I got was thin and not great to walk on, so I decided to go for an actual rug pad. For the price, this one seemed like the best deal. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I love it. The pad has made the rug way more comfortable to walk on, it holds it in place, and it seems like it's made of quality materials. It was not too heavy to work with by myself, and I was able to trim it down relatively easily with scissors. I highly recommend it!

I ordered a runner pad that was 2' wide and 7.8' long. It was actually 8' long, meaning I had to trim it. It is also 2" wider on one end than the other, widening gradually, which also needed to be trimmed down with a level and heavy scissors. Not as easy as I wanted it to be. The pad itself is cushy and stays in place nicely, no off gassing smells that I noticed.
