Unique Loom Uni-Luxe Dual Surface Felt and Rubber Non-Slip Rug Pad 1/4" Thick (10'x 14')

Key features
- •DUAL SURFACE: Perfect for use on both hard and soft surfaces. Simply place the natural rubber backing side down for hard surfaces and place the felt side down for soft surfaces, such as carpet.
- •PROTECT YOUR FLOORS: Protects against abrasion and wear on all flooring types while also reducing pile crushing from furniture.
- •MAKE YOUR RUG LAST LONGER: The added cushion from a rug pad provides a layer of protection, giving it long lasting usability in high traffic areas.
- •NON-SLIP GRIP: The durable slip resistant rubber backing side provides stability and helps to prevent slipping, bunching, and wrinkles, keeping the rug surface smooth on the floor, which makes vacuuming easier.
- •CUSTOMIZABLE: While these pads are pre-cut for various sizes, some rugs may arrive slightly altered, so each rug pad can be cut-to-size to fit what you need.

When did rug pads get so flimsy and expensive?? We have sealed concrete floors and needed something underneath the vintage rug we have in the kitchen so I didn't feel like my bones were breaking every time I was standing for a long period of time (doing dishes etc). This one works, I wish it stuck to the floor a little better but it probably would be great on hard wood. Not exactly plush and luxurious but it does add some extra cushioning.
Thin but nice!

This is a great deal for what it was. I got this item during Prime day for less than $50. I would not spend more than $50 on this item.
It is a little thin, but the non-skid dots on the bottom are perfect! I bought this for a thin rug in our living room and under a thick rug in our nursery. The item works great!

So far, so good

UPDATE:
Today I received a second rug pad. This one is the 2' 6" x 13' runner size.
An enclosure with this rug pad says:
Fits a 2' 6" x 13' rug
Product Dimensions are 28" x 154"
(That comes out to 2' 4" by 12' 10".)
I didn't actually measure this one, but it worked well for my 12' runner after I shortened it.
And it's completely odorless.
PREVIOUSLY:
The pad that I bought was sold as a 3' x 5' (equivalent to 36" x 60"). The actual size of the pad that I received was:
Length on one side: 58 and 9/16 inches
Length on opposite side: 58 and 2/16 (or 1/8) inches
So, yeah, a little angled or crooked.
Width at both ends: 35½"
Those lengths weren't a problem for me. My rug covered them, and the margins worked for me.
And I had to cut the width by a couple of inches to fit my rug, which I expected. (I used large inexpensive scissors, which did that easily.)
And the pad is almost completely odorless"”inoffensive. And even to smell that, I have to put my nose next to it. I expect it to fade to zero odor very soon.
Whether the pad will move or slide a little on the floor, I don't know yet. I expect it will. Every other brand of every type (except, perhaps, the old all-jute pads of yesteryear that are no longer available) always have. Zero movement is a fantasy dream. And, BTW, the more foot traffic"”and the faster that traffic"”the more rug movement you're likely to get. But I've never experienced a rug of any size on any kind of pad flying out from under me, leaving me on my keister.
