Not sure about the dog, but I love these

We have a 10 pound dog and a 22 pound dog. There are so many sizes in this packet of cones there is surely one to fit whatever size dog. These are so much more convenient to take off for eating and put back on than those complicated ones from the vet that need to have a collar strung through them. Cones can be wiped clean. Our vet used another type of adjustable cone after the latest surgery, but it has 3 strips of velcro for adjustments and some of the strips got dirty so we switched back to one of these. I can't vouch for the comfort since I haven't worn one. My dog does NOT like the sound made when I remove it for eating, but he gets to eat, so there's that. Cone is easy to put back on even a wiggly dog. I just wish the dogs didn't have so many situations when they need one of these!

My dog has allergies all year long. She's on medication and seeing a Dermatologist. I bought a highly recommended collar (blow-up piece w/cloth over) but I found my dog could still lick and get to spots on her body. I bought another collar recommended by one of my Vets it was just so large and cumbersome. My dog could barely walk. She could also easily get it off. I found these and they are similar to the ones you get at the Vet's office but they have a softer neck and they are much more sturdy. I use only one of them since it's the best fit but I am happy to have the other sizes which I only use when I've washed the main one. This works perfectly and my dog cannot get to any of her spots while wearing. The only thing you need to remember is that they can't drink when wearing this cone. My dog lets me know when she wants a drink, ha ha! But just be careful to remember that they can't drink with them on or at least mine can't. But she's not wearing it often or a lot but it definitely helps so much when she has allergy flare-ups. I think, for me, this is the best collar out there for dogs. I wasted money on the other two collars which for my dog didn't work. I highly recommend.

My dog gets ant bites and will begin licking and biting 24/7 if she can reach the bites. The salve I put on her is licked off unless I use the collar. So far she hasn't figure out how to get it off if I clip it to her collar. The velcro on these is really great and effective. Highly recommended.
Sturdy cones in a variety of sizes

These cones have wide Velcro fasteners that hold their grip. The variety of sizes comes in handy for groomers, veterinarians, etc. that must fit multiple different sized dogs. The smaller sizes run very small and would be best for a cat. The largest size is probably medium and would not be suitable for a Golden or Shepherd, more for a Springer sized dog.
