I am extremely impressed and satisfied with this purchase. We were visiting the snow this winter and I did not want to walk around town wearing bulky snow boots. These held up really well and kept my feet warm while using normal thin socks. Very good at resisting water and my feet never got wet once. Amazing boots for the price you can not beat it!

This seems like one of those products where people have abnormally high expectations for something ultimately meant to be a bargain.

Are these booths earth shattering? Absolutely not, but FOR THE PRICE... they are fantastic. I have used them for hiking during the fall and winter time. They are grippy and comfortable. During the recent mix of rain and snow this past week, my feet stayed warm and dry. Walking through the snow and along slippery sidewalks, I never once lost my footing or grip either.

I know there have been some questions regarding durability. I suspect there might be a quality control issue, but as far as the boots I purchased, they still feel and look as good as new. I have been so impressed with their durability, style, and utility, I've also recently purchased another pair in the camel color with the fur lining for when the weather gets especially dicey.

All that said, at around $35, these shoes are a great deal. If you want something that will last forever though, you need to look elsewhere and expect to pay at least three times as much.

These were amazing snow boots that look good! I had a business trip to Harbin China where it was snowy, frozen, and COLD! I wore these everyday, no discomfort to my feet at all, they stayed very warm, and were excellent on the icy pavements! They are also very easy to get on and off, and not too heavy! I want to add I am a professional figure skater so my feet are very sensitive and I am very picky with my footwear due to this and I found them very comfortable. I wear a mens 10 on average, and I have a skinnier foot, they were a very good fit!

So my first pair were bought in late October of 2019, I was actually working at Amazon as a Manager and I wanted a comfortable pair of shoes to walk in and I still wanted to wear nice-ish clothing to work. I read a lot of reviews back then and most mentioned that they wouldn't last more than a couple months. For $30 I thought that was fine; as long as they lasted through the Chicago Winter I'd be a happy customer. Plus they were advertised as waterproof which was a factor in my purchase. (They are waterproof and they aren't, they protect your feet from slush and snow but if it's raining you may want to cover the fur.)

So as of February 9th, 2021 I have continued to wear that same pair from Late Fall to Early Spring. I've put about 10-12 months of use into these shoes. At Amazon I'd wear a step counter and I was walking about 5 to 8 miles 4-5 days a week. I shovel my driveway with these shoes. I wear these shoes out on dates (and get complimented). These shoes look good, feel good, and WILL last you at least a year. I honestly believe I could get another year or two, but I'm just giving you my honest review based off of my own experience.

So the shoes last a pretty long time in a city that definitely isn't new to getting heavy snowfall. But how do the new shoes compare to the old ones? I have only noticed 2 differences since putting them on this morning about 2 hours ago. 1.) The fur is much thicker and provides much better insulation. Which is due to how much I've worn my previous pair I assume. 2.) The soles do provide better grip on ice. Obviously wearing a shoe for over 6 months will wear out the rubber soles a bit.

Long story short... Other than wear and tear, the shoes are exactly the same aside from their color.

If you want a cheap pair of shoes that will last you for at minimum a year, there really isn't much other options. These shoes are wonderful, I have referred so many friends and co-workers to buy a pair. If these shoes ever are discontinued I know I will be purchasing all of their color options and enough to last me at least another 10-12 years. So probably 6 pairs or so. Aside from my Sperry's Striper II's which are also waterproof, these are my 2nd favorite pair of shoes.
