As far as track lighting goes this is really convenient and easy the stickies are still sticky they stay well on the ceiling you have to hold them for 1 minute but I like the timer feature and they provide good spot lighting for art it's really convenient to not wire anything. Only thing is I would have rather had lights that had radio remote . The remote is info red you need line of sight to use the remote control . Exactly as described.

Exactly as described my bad for not realizing the size I needed was larger for my artwork. But they work as described but wish brighter. Would buy again for the rights size piece of art.

The two lights generally did what we wanted: illuminated one of our favorite posters that hung in a dark corner. We couldn't wall mount them because the frame of the target poster is very deep (~2.5") so the lights do not reach when mounted on the same wall. So an improvement would be a 2-4" telescoping neck. Also, it was a couple of weeks before we broke out the remotes, and it's the remotes that access all the features! So don't wait to use them! Otherwise, the brightness and dimming capabilities of the lamps are fine. Lastly, it would be a nice feature if the two included remotes controlled the two lamps separately (A & B)...both remotes control both lamps.

I like the size of the light, and the adjustable brightness. Some have complained about the white light. But it does advertise 4000K (kelvin units) which is a white light. So buyer beware. The instructions like instructions of so many products are horrible. Thank goodness for the hints in the Amazon ad. I found out, I think I am correct, that the default timer in it is one hour. Seems to go off on its own after that. No problem for me, I set the timer for 2 hours.
I have found that the remote does not always work from where I sit in the room which is about 20 feet. The ad says remote is good from 3-10 meters, or about 9-30 feet. No problem for me though. Also, I have some Luminara brand flameless candles next to the light. When I decrease the brightness of the spotlight with remote, some of them go off! Ha. I guess they use the same sensor technology in both profucts. Over all I am happy with light.

We have a split level house where the entry immediately goes up or down the stairs. Our living room has a ledge at the stairs. I painted a painting that I wanted to highlight on the ledge and these lights seem to be doing the trick. I received them today in the mail so we will see how they hold up. I did find that the remotes mess with some of my flameless candles but that's not a big deal. I am not sure if there is a preset timer as they flicked off about 20 minutes in so I will need to read through how to program them. They sit on the ledge so I couldn't tell you how well they would work suspended. So far I am pleased. You can see how bright (but not overly bright) they are in a candle lit room.
