The two lights generally did what we wanted: illuminated one of our favorite posters that hung in a dark corner. We couldn't wall mount them because the frame of the target poster is very deep (~2.5") so the lights do not reach when mounted on the same wall. So an improvement would be a 2-4" telescoping neck. Also, it was a couple of weeks before we broke out the remotes, and it's the remotes that access all the features! So don't wait to use them! Otherwise, the brightness and dimming capabilities of the lamps are fine. Lastly, it would be a nice feature if the two included remotes controlled the two lamps separately (A & B)...both remotes control both lamps.

I bought this lamp to throw light on a 20 x 30 in photo that I'd put on the wall of my garage in front of my treadmill. It was easy to attach the lamp to a post in the garage (I used the supplied screws) and I can control the lamp from the treadmill using the remote. I'm now thinking of using the second lamp to light up a dark doorway. It remains to be seen how long the batteries will last, but I've used the lamp for about 8 hours so far without any noticeable loss of light and, at the price I paid for AA batteries on Amazon, it will only cost $1.20 to replace the three batteries. So overall, this lamp is perfect for what I wanted.

As far as track lighting goes this is really convenient and easy the stickies are still sticky they stay well on the ceiling you have to hold them for 1 minute but I like the timer feature and they provide good spot lighting for art it's really convenient to not wire anything. Only thing is I would have rather had lights that had radio remote . The remote is info red you need line of sight to use the remote control . Exactly as described.

We bought these to brighten up a bronze that sits near the floor. I was skeptical that because of their small size, they wouldn't be bright enough to illuminate it sufficiently and would look cheesy and cheap. We were pleasantly surprised as they exceeded our expectations. I would have given it 5 stars, however the screws that are provided are much too small. They're almost one size bigger than eyeglass screws. Due to having a textured ceiling we couldn't use the adhesive tape. Time will tell how they'll hold up to gravity"¦so far so good.
