So I purchased a frother (you can get a nice one for about $10), used it in cold water, and voila! A nice, smooth protein drink for lunch. Summary: (1) good protein-to-calorie ratio; (2) not as much flavor as the pre-mixed version; (3) be prepared for more aftertaste; (4) get a frother.
