I have hEDS and this is the only knee brace that has worked for me so far. No other knee brace I tried gave me the side stabilization and hyperextension support I need, like this one has. It's not perfect, if I'm wearing it all day I have to readjust it every couple of hours or my knees will hyperextend, but it's pretty good for the price and it's very easy to readjust since the gears are exposed unlike most other braces.

Bought this based on other reviews after I fractured my kneecap and was told I needed to be in an immobilizer for at least 4-6 weeks. I've worn it for a full week so far (except to bathe) and have had no discomfort, slipping, or other issues. Easy to use, adjust, and take on/off. I prefer to wear it over a light bandage or legginfs, but it could be worn on bare skin comfortably. I'm currently not supposed to bend my leg, so I have it locked to 180, and there is a little give, but not enough that I don't feel secure. I had an appointment with an orthopedic specialist today who was very impressed with the product and asked where I got it and how much I paid, and he was blown away by the quality for the price. In his words, "We'd probably charge you a few hundred bucks for that thing"! I'll be in it for a few more weeks and will update if any issues arise, but overall, I've been very happy with this, especially for the price.
The right brace works really great but the left one not as good, so I give them a 4 out of 5 stars.

I use them to be able to get up and walk I have bad knees and I can't have knee surgery cuz I'm not old enough so I ordered them to help me get around better and they work for that part but the left brace the velcro straps on it keep letting it slide down off my knee and I have to keep pulling it up but it stays on for the most part most of the day outside of that they're pretty good braces I have no problem at all with the right one and that's the one I have the most trouble with my leg is my right knee so I'm good to go.

I am pretty sure that this brace is of really good quality. My wife had back surgery which cause her to have no feeling in her knee. So her knee buckles on her. With at being said, the brace is really nice. It has any setting that you need and it is sturdy. And it would be stable. The problem lies not with the brace, but she could not keep it from falling down on her leg. Might be the shape of her leg. Don't know. I put it on really tight. But it is really worth the money and the try. This is not a bad review. Just our personal experience.
Calf End Is Smaller

I used the sizing information and was in the Large range at 19" (Large is 18.5-21). I ordered a Large. However, the calf end is significantly smaller than the thigh end. The top/thigh end seems to fit well enough, but the calf end is too small. I measured around my calf at about where the strap is on the brace (about 5" down) and it measured 17-1/4". Technically I can still use it as the outer velcro strap is plenty long, but the inner velcro doesn't quite reach. One of the problems with the inner velcro not overlapping well is then the rougher part of the velcro presses against the skin and is very uncomfortable. It would help if they would reverse the velcro so the soft side faces inward, but that's not how it's built. I can wrap a cloth over the inner velcro while I strap it down with the outer velcro, and I guess that works okay. I could try buying a larger size, but would the top then be too big? Maybe my calves are bigger than average. The manufacturer should probably include more indepth sizing information for both sides of the brace. Everything else about the brace I think is pretty nice, so it's unfortunate that it doesn't fit me.
