It's a good product, but I spend too much time trying to figure out how to do some things. The manuals could use some work. In many places it tells you that you can do something, but does not indicate how to do it. Vague! It could also use a printable list of all short cuts. In fact many of Magix products could use that.

I upgraded from 2016 Movie Edit Pro Plus and like the new features in this version.

Be nice if didn't need to update when you want to use some files types after install you have to update some patch to be able to use those files types like maybe mpeg 4, or mpeg1, I know AVCHD did first time. Makes it so wanting to put this software on another pc at some future date may not be possible if the Magix servers go down, get sun shined. You'll have a suite that has limitations of which files it can process.

Other than that I really like Magix Movie Maker, used an older version for years before this, does exactly what I want in an editor time and time again is just a perfect piece of software for basic editing with using video clips and what is done with the audio track for editing creating wave forms. So can id when noise occurs looking at the peaks in the display. Other than that has a few basic tricks in it that have been useful.

Not a software program I would say to get to use if you want to add special effects like overlays such as putting a picture of a person over a movie actor clip you will need some adobe or whatever for that, Magix may be able to but is really just a slice and edit software, though still very advanced with all of its options and at an amazing price, not $1000.

Update. After you dedicate yourself to learning this product and spend time doing so It is a very effective video editor. The company does a poor job In user experience And how to use their products properly. If it was not for other independents And YouTube this product will be in a yard sale. Shame on the Developer.

Because it was Amazon, we could easily get the goods by personal import.
I like MAGIX software, so I plan to import it using Amazon America.
