Outstanding cat door

We installed it on the door to garage and finally got out the cat litter. Two our cats learned it very fast and now are traveling back and forth when want. The product is exactly as described. Wonderful.

The media could not be loaded. I have been wanting & in dire need of a mechanism for my two baby girls who happen to be indoor/outdoor. For reference, I live in a small 1 bedroom apartment. Was getting sick of leaving windows open or having to open the door for them CONSTANTLY. Became a huge problem convenience & safety wise but also given our living situation we could not get a regular big cat door thing.
Been researching these little doors alot & decided to go with this one particularly the large one. I realized I could of gone smaller once it came in however it's not a problem & atleast they will be comfortable & have plenty of room to go through.
Thankfully, I happen to have a close family friend who is very handy with all maintence kind of things who told me he would be glad to make me the whole window insert to go with the cat door.
Pretty sure he just used wood & had to sand down the wood pallet & the cat door aswell a little bit for it to fit the exact size of my window. After he inserted the wood part & the door separately next to it, he then taped up any openings to keep the air out & we put two window clamps on top to secure the window.
So far it has been a great success & I am extremely happy with the end result! I will say it is not the best quality & I wouldn't expect it to last years & years but I believe it is well worth the price for sure!
The locking mechanism is alright. So far no issues with it. It's nice to have the options of locking either ways in & out. My cats adapted very quickly, within a few hours.
