I bought this out of desperation due to significant knee pain for an unknown reason. Arthritis is an issue but I was feel new constant pain. Anyway brace is helpful for stability easing the pain. I was finally able to sleep walking was easier"¦. I am not pain free but it is more tolerable. I followed the size guide and it fits fine some slippage while sleeping but that was almost expected"¦. Give it a try you won't be sorry.

As the photo shows, I am wearing these sleeves on each knee. I think they do help with pain, Some refer to them as compression sleeves. They are designed to exert pressure on each side of the kneee, and there in a circular gel pack over the knee cap. Since I am a bike rider, I appreciate the extra protection. I don't know why or how they work. I showed them to my doctor, and she thought they might help. I'm thinking I have less pain and more support around the joint when I am wearing them. Without them, I do experience more pain, probably because the joint has more freedom to move around in ways that do cause pain. I wish some medical authority who understands these would explain why they offer less pain and more support for the knee. I do not wear them through the night, and directions with the products urges the wearer not to wear them that way. I wear them every day. On an average, i am biking about 20 miles a day on e-bikes. I will continue to use them and will show them to the physical therapists I am scheduled to see at the end of the month. By the way, I am diagnosed with bilateral, stage 4 progressive, osteoarthritis.

I was actually looking for Donjoy knee brace as it was a name I knew my whole life for knee braces. As I looked them up, a lot of reviews were not favorable. I didn't want anything too bulky and I have had 3 knee surgeries and sometimes I just get random issues and just want some support. This was actually very well made, didn't bind behind my knee or wad up. The knee cap pad was comfortable, and even better, it didn't work down my leg during the day. It breathed well, and I am outside most of my day and walk most of my day back and forth on dirt, rocks, and concrete. This is a well made product, and washable.

I'm recovering from a ruptured knee injury. Surgery back in April. When I was allowed to use brasses of my own picking, I chose this brace because it looked comfortable and had material that would cover my kneecap.
This place has been good for the most part. The one thing that happens is it ends up spinning on me sometimes or sliding downwards. Therefore I have to readjust it a few times a day. When it does shift by spinning around the brace part that should be on the side can end up being over the knee and the other brace slightly behind your leg which can interfere with walking. I recommend using this brace for around the house and be very mindful for what you step. This brace does not help if you have an expected step down. Horrible pain I felt with an unexpected step down of 2 inches. The supports in either side were not strong enough to absorb the unexpected drop of my foot of 2 inches. Becareful with all braces they aren't tailored to our needs or our legs, swelling, or many other factors.

I wrote about this problem to NEENCA Customer Service. They immediately got back to me and told me they understand the problem and right away shipped me another similar knee brace. In these days of often crappy customer service, this response was amazingly on target and highly satisfying. I also read more reviews of this product and believe that the problem I pointed out earlier may be a one-off kind of a quality control problem that the NEENCA folks resolved by sending me a replacement right away. Therefore, I changed my rating to a 5-star rating which both the product and the customer service of this company deserve.

I bought this knee brace nearly three weeks ago. The first one I got was a "L" size brace based on the size chart provided by the manufacturer on the product page for this knee brace on amazon website. As noted by many other reviewers, the size chart is not correct and the "L" size sleeve was just too tight for me, and I had to return it and order an "XL" size knee brace. The "XL" size has a good fit with my leg and I certainly found this knee brace to be helpful in reducing my knee pain. It is supportive and the silicone ring around the knee cap feels quite comfortable. However, the quality of this knee brace needs to be improved. While the two plastic stabilizer bars on the two sides bend properly for me and have not broken so far unlike for some other reviewers, the blue cloth inside the sleeve that covers and holds the plastic braces in place has started coming off on one side and it seems it was not glued properly on the sleeve material. I have only worn this knee brace for just about three weeks and it is clear that this cloth is going to come off completely which will mean the stabilizer bars will not be held in place and the knee brace will become useless. I am going to contact the manufacturer and if they don't respond in time, I will return this knee brace to amazon as I still have a small window of time to return it. I am giving it a 3-star rating because the knee brace is otherwise designed to support the knee and does support it, but the manufacturing quality is not what it should be. I hope this review is helpful to other buyers of this knee brace.
