Used this to bring my vintage console up to date and man it sounds awesome! Perfect size and fit right in / looks quite nice! I love that there is an actual knob, I know that's silly but I hate having to hold down hard to reach touch buttons - I really wanted something that's easy to click on/off when I want to put music on, not a thing that always stays on. The amplification is perfect going through my old console everything sounds warm and lovely! Does NOT come with an RCA cable, so you'll need a nice one of those to reap the full benefits but working great!

wow i had one of those portable amps and compaired too this thing those were childs play...i was gonna buy a nice nice fiio 3k10 or w.e it is dac amp but i paired this with the phillips shp openback headphones and there is totally no noise besides fore your game or music no fuzziness and it gives a much better bigger sound stage than running it straioght from your pc or phone...you can use bluetooth, coax wire but i have a built in dac on my mother board that accepts the optical lines and has gold plated everything, interchangeable amps inside the motherboard and everything you can think of for good sound, so using the optical to this dac with these headphoens are a winning combo....for gaming you hear allt he foot steps around you aND CAN TELL EXACTLY WHERE THEY ARE JUST FROM HEARING THEM BECAUSE HOW NICE THE SOUND STAGE IS.

This little guy is very well built. Unit was well packaged and included the charger, coax and optical cables. I use it for the TV to connect the audio output to an old HK receiver. I haven't used the headphones yet but the Bluetooth 5.0 is as good as the more expensive Audioengine receiver, which costs about 5 times more.
