We redid our master closet and I left a space on the back wall where I could hang my ironing board and hoped I could also store my iron. This worked out well. The iron is a bit top heavy and could fall since the shelf railing is so short. Measure first to make sure it will fit, if you have a big iron. I have it back in a corner of the closet where it is pretty safe. It is cute and holds the board safely.
