My wife had bought me a Boker Plus Kaizen as a gift, but it had some quality control issues, and the opening mechanism is terrible, especially for older hands. This Civivi is about the same form factor and so much nicer. It opens easily, and just seems like the overall build quality is better.

My first civivi knife, I really like the shape of handle, the blade, it looks good, feels good in hand, solid build, nicely packaged, has a zipper case for it. Will definitely be looking to buy more from civivi .

I had a 50 dollar gift card for Amazon for a reward from on of my credit cards. I decided to purchase this knife with it. Got here the day after I purchased it and I very happy with the knife. I'm 39 and I have had a knife in my pocket every day since cub scouts. I've had all kinds of knife. Different types and manufacturers. I wanted to get this one to have something that was light weight, simple, streamline, and with a deep carry clip to keep it in my waist band while I jog or trail run. Keep its secure and from bouncing around in my pocket. This knife is exactly what I wanted. The quality is fantastic. Above what you would expect for a knife at this price point. They really found the formula to provide a stylish, quality knife at a great price point. I look forward to purchasing more knifes from them. They come with a little zipper pouch and a cleaning cloth. The little packaging and pouch kit would make these knifes a perfect gift. I already know what my friends will be getting during the holidays!

Typical Civivi quality: great flipper action, sharp, centered, no blemishes. Ease of use is easy and completely reliable. Since the knife is relatively small I find that having a firm grip between the pad below your thumb and the ring finger and pinky assists opening.
The knife looks great and the blade shape is very functional in a work environment. Fits comfortably in jeans or slacks but is a bit too thick for shirt pockets. Regarding using in an office the knife does not look threatening or dangerous. Some places claim good for bushcraft, but I would definitely not go that far in recommending its usefulness.

I was looking for some smaller, light, and compact. This was thin and light, really fit that need. I've been running this for a few months and it still works great.

Light enough it's not sagging clipped to my pocket but not light as a feather that I forget it's there.
