The spa was very easy to assemble. We placed ours on our covered back patio. Once assembled, we filled it up with water. It takes about 9 hours for the water to heat up. Once it was heated up we climbed in. I'm tall, 6'4, and my wife is a midget, 5'10. There is more than enough room in the spa for both of us and for additional people, we laugh about it because there is only the two of us. She really likes being able to have room to really stretch out and move about, which she does frequently. She has a table that she places her wine on while relaxing in the spa. I sit on the other side and use the built in cup holders on the pump housing for my drink.
I bought two air headrests to place against the sides. The spa is tall enough that we don't need them, there for we don't use them at all. I would suggest using the spa before you order the headrests, like us you might not need them.
The spa really pushes the air and generates bubbles. It is very soothing and relaxing. It massages both your neck, your back, and your feet. We haven't had any issues with the spa cooling off on us, we live in South Texas. I will try and remember to update this after winter hits and it is freezing, like in the 50s or something (ha ha).
The heat shield and the cover both fit like a glove. My wife didn't think that we needed the heat shield but it makes sense. The heater only kicks on when the pool cools down before my selected temperatures of 95 to 99 degrees, that's where I like to keep it. Utilizing the heat shield, even in South Texas, means that the heater doesn't have to come on as often there by saving power.
I chose the Saluspa over the other brands because I felt like I was getting a larger sized spa for the same money that the other company charged for the smaller sized spas. The quality is great and I firmly believe that I got a great deal. My wife loves it and repeated tells this over and over. Happy wife, happy life!

2 degrees per hour

This tub is visually appealing with it's wicker style pattern. THIS IS NOT A WIFI TUB. We purchased a 7x7 ft piece of outdoor carpet as a protectant from anything sharp that might have been under it. The black hose gets attached to the pump's largest outlet to fill the sides and top. Activate the bubble's to fill. Once you have pumped them up, you can connect the tub. The heater draws 11 Amps (or about 1300 Watts) so don't expect much more than 2 degrees/ hour to heat up the tub. DON'T TURN ON the bubbles while heating to temp. The Air pump draws 6 Amps. Thats 17 total amps which will stress out a 15 amp circuit! If you can, a 20 amp circuit is better. Finally, if you have to use an extension cord, MAKE SURE ITS 12AWG like the cord!!!! Otherwise your extension will get hot and pose a fire hazard. Heating the tub (top on) 20 degrees, it took 10 hours. Don't bother setting the timer for heating, the icon with turn green when the tub is at temp.
Its a nice hot tub for the price, but these filters need to be changed every 2-3 times we use it.

I love how big this hot tub is. The last one I purchased for $150 less and it ran its course of about 1.5 years until it developed a hole in it and the heater went out. Same brand and everything, of course they stopped making that heating unit so I had to replace the entire unit/heater/air blower for $300, but instead I opted to go for this one and I've ended up loving it for the most part. My only complaint is they now made the filters for it really small compared to the older/smaller one I had. The older one I would need to replace the filter every few months and I would use it a few times a week. This unit is bigger and has more room, but has a smaller filter for it? Go figure, so it actually throws a code and makes you change the filter every like 2-3 times we use it. So overall I'd give it a 4/5 stars because it is a great size for the price, BUT the small filters for it need replacing too often and ya waste a ton of money just on the small filters.
Great buy easy set up

Easy set up! Getting the chemicals right is trickier than I thought. I like how easy it is to empty and wipe clean. You can screw a hose into a spout coming from the bottom side.
I only purchased this 2 weeks ago and it's been used A LOT on my back porch and the water stays at 104 but drops a little after you've been in for a while but it's only 50-60 degrees outside so the heater works well.
The delivery driver was a sweetheart and brought it on a dolly to my backdoor.
So far this is my favorite thing I bought all year!
