Key features

  • SOOTHING MASSAGE SYSTEM: The SaluSpa Budapest Inflatable Hot Tub Spa features 140 jets which release air bubbles to create a warm, relaxing experience at your home! The massage system has two different intensity levels for your preference.
  • CONTROL AT YOUR FINGERTIPS: Control this spa from your smart device! Through the Bestway Smart Hub app, you can adjust the water temperature, activate the Power Saving Timer, run the water filter and control the AirJet system. Inside the tub, use the digital control panel to manage the spa's settings.
  • 40% MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT: The specially constructed EnergySense insulated cover is 40% more energy efficient than similar inflatable spas. The cover prevents debris from collecting and retains heat more efficiently, meaning the water stays hotter and your energy bill stays lower.
  • DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: The inflatable walls are made of durable, puncture-resistant DuraPlus material which is more tear-resistant and stretch-resistant compared to PVC. The portable spa will retain its shape no matter how many times it's inflated and deflated. FreezeShiled technology automatically prevents the spa's inner components from freezing at colder temperatures.
  • USER-FRIENDLY DESIGN: The round tub shape is 77" x 26" and fits up to 6 persons, making it a great addition to your patio or backyard. The included pump inflates, runs filtration and the AirJet system which can be managed from the app or the digital control panel. It also acts as a tray and cup holder.

We live in a townhouse community and our options for a hot tub were extremely limited.

We have a community pool and spa. But they are only open Dawn to Dusk. Not only that, the Spa needs some work, and even when it's in top condition, the concrete bench in the tub is not particularly comfortable.

Our HOA does not allow construction of a traditional hot tub behind our patio, so we were limited to what we could fit on our enclosed patio. That limited us to the "Miami" or the "St. Lucia". We chose the St. Lucia, because the 15% discount put this almost $100 below the price of the Miami. Also it was smaller made it a better fit for our patio.

Set up was a breeze. I will echo the comments of others, in that the manual could be better written, but if you look carefully, it's pretty clear and pretty intuitive. One thing that did cause me to pause, was the fact that to turn on the power, you need to touch the power button for three seconds. I initially thought that I had a defective unit. After clearing this, the device works perfectly.

So to be clear. To turn the unit on and off, you need to press the button for 3 seconds. The same holds true to lock and unlock the panel while the unit is in operation.

Filling the hot tub's 160 Gallons did not take long at all. The included cover has an inflatable insert which floats on top of the water and helps keep the heat inside the tub. A quick read of the manual which shows you putting the insert inside the cover BEFORE you inflate it, will make assembling the cover that much easier

I have found that you only need ONE 1" chlorinating tablet to adequately treat the water.

I have found that this tub is actually more comfortable than traditional tubs. You are not limited to the "molded" seats found in traditional spas. The floor of the hot tub is slightly padded so it's comfortable to sit on even when the tub is sitting on concrete. The tubs walls are sturdy enough to provide back support and leaning back gives you a soft place to lay your head.

You can certainly buy cushions and head rests for inflatable hot tubs if you wish.

The air bubbles do not have the strength of the hydro-jets found in more expensive tubs. But the bubbles are soothing. The air pump and sound of the bubbles is significant enough that makes conversation during the use of the air jets challenging. But once you turn off the bubbles, then the noise level goes down significantly. You should also note, that if the ambient air is cold, the bubbles will serve to cool down the water, which can be a blessing or curse depending on your desires. 104 degrees is MORE than sufficient, and my wife and I prefer about 100.

I highly recommend that you place a dish tub or similar container filled with a little water to allow you to rinse your feet off prior to entering the tub, as it will keep you from tracking in dirt into your tub.

This hot tub is amazing, especially considering the price is 1/10th the price of a more traditional hot tub.

The total cost of ownership for this unit is so much lower than a traditional hot tub. And while it diminutive size will not allow you to host a "hot tub party", it is more than sufficient for a couple. And if you are space restricted as we are, it fills a niche that otherwise could not be filled.
Love this Thing

I love my Saulspa, I bought this on prime day for $250 bucks after tax, and its been worth every penny and more. Since then, I've used it every few days and have had zero major issues. it keeps the water warm and is really simple to setup and use.

I did have a minor issue where the bottom coating had some extra material that once wet and rubbed on would come off, so I had a decent amount of this material floating and getting stuck in the filter. Once it was rubbed off, I used a skimmer and lots was caught by the filter. It has not been a problem since. Maybe once you inflate, do a cleaning rub down before filling?

This package does not come with bromine or any other chemicals, so you'll want to pick those up and some extra filters so you can wash and replace them without having to turn the filter off.

Overall tho it is great, it is perfect for 1-2 people, 3 you need to be comfy cuz its gonna be crowded :)
Totally worth it!

I scored this on Prime Day for hundreds less and it's been working spectacularly for the three weeks I have had it. It is easy to set up and easy to drain/refill. I purchased the cup holder/tray for the side which has been useful and got a 6ft. round, outdoor rug for under it. I had to use an extension cord and got a 25ft., 14 gauge, outdoor one that has been working well so far. To add to the fun factor, I purchased two puck-sized, remote controlled, submersible lights that float around. For sanitation, I have been using chlorine tablets because I already had them from my stock tank pool and they're working great thus far. Besides test strips, the defoamer liquid works quickly and an occasional shock helps. Additionally, I got a 12 pack of filters for $35 to have on hand for filter changes. It's not too hot to use on 75-80 degrees nights. I keep it at 100 then set it to 104 degrees a few hours before I want to use it. As for electricity consumption, it has increased my bill by about $50/month (in East Coast summer weather) as I can track my daily usage/cost, but the added cost so far is hands down worth it for me as I use it nearly every day. For winter, I plan on putting up a pop-up green house over it and insulating the bottom with foam installation board. Overall, this has been a super useful and fun purchase that is well worth it. As for longevity, time will tell, but for the $270 it cost (plus supplies), it has been one of the most useful purchases I have made. I recommend it to anyone on the fence, even at full price! Go for it!
Set up was easy

Set up was very easy. But it takes a while for the temperature to warm up. When we put in the water it was at 74° after adding lots of hot water it finally got to 91 waiting till the next night it's gonna be hotter. Now that I've had it for longer. I'm still loving it. Trust me you can't go wrong with this. I look forward to getting in the hot tub every single night.
Really fun!

I've been really impressed with this little inflatable hot tub. I use it almost daily. The little heater and pump really holds the temperature well, as does the cover. Sometimes, during the heat of the summer, you can save on energy by turning off the heat during the day. The covered pool will really retain the heat. The downside, of course, is that it takes a long time to lower or raise the temperature. You kind of have to find what you like and stick with it. We'll see how it performs as we get into the cooler months.

Assembly was a bit difficult. The instructions offered no written words at all, just a bunch of drawings that did not seem entirely clear to me. I was not a fan. The sides and top seem sturdy at first, but will probably need a top-off of air after awhile.

Even though this is inflatable, I would not suggest taking it with you for travel. It took most of a day to heat the water.
