I use only the cutting head attached to the drill. Easier to control and make angle cuts. Like any saw blade - let the blade do the work.

Great product that works well. My only problem is that the set screw on the extension backs out too easily making the extension useless. Just stick with putting the blade directly on the drill and forget about the extension. It's not necessary and it's easier to control that way.

This tool works quite well, provided you start the process with the drill in reverse. It catches less and is plenty sharp enough to do the trick. I used a dewalt 20 volt hammer drill with the added grip attached, and it made managing the torque quite easy.
The extension piece has a pretty marginal set screw, hence 4 stars, so I used the tool with out the extension. Worked great.
